Powder Horn. 1862. Cow horns were commonly used as black powder containers for nineteenth-century firearms. L. 11-3/4", Plug diameter 3-1/4".

Cast iron horn tip. 1897. Horn tips were screwed onto oxen horns as a safety precaution. H. 2-1/4", D. 2".

Cowbell. c. 1870. Dairy farmers placed cowbells on their livestock so they could find them when it was time for milking. H. 8-1/2", W. 7".
