Ox Shoes. Oxen are fully matured steers. they were the principle beast of burden of early Stearns County farmers. c. 1870. L. 6"

Powder Horn. 1862. Cow horns were commonly used as black powder containers for nineteenth-century firearms. L. 11-3/4", Plug diameter 3-1/4".

Cast iron horn tip. 1897. Horn tips were screwed onto oxen horns as a safety precaution. H. 2-1/4", D. 2".

Cowbell. c. 1870. Dairy farmers placed cowbells on their livestock so they could find them when it was time for milking. H. 8-1/2", W. 7".
