Butter crock. c. 1920. This one pound crock was used by the McCrew family on their farm near Watab, Minnesota, in the early part of the twentieth-century. H. 2-3/4", D. 4-5/8".

Wooden butter molds. 1860-1920. Molds were used by Stearns County butter makers to give distinctive decorative patterns to their butter. They were often homemade. Average. W. 4", H. 4".

German butter box. c. 1850. This wooden container was brought to the United States by the Breer family, settlers in Richmond, Minnesota. H. 2-5/8", L 5-1/2", W. 3-3/4".
